HTC Surround, a new touch phone, which is a Windows Phone 7 handset powered by Qualcomm QSD 8250 1Ghz processor and 16GB internal memory has been launched. Weighing 5.8 ounces, Surround is 4.7” long, 2.4” wide and 0.5 inch deep. With 3.8 inch touch display, this new HTC Surround also features a 5 MP built in camera, Stereo Bluetooth [v2.1], FM radio and music player.

This new HTC Surround is loaded with quality entertainment specs including surround speakers with Dolby and SRS WOW surround sound. Also, the presence of surround speakers in the handset helps to enhance the music listening experience over the phone to a great extent. It is also integrated with Zune music subscription service for users to download their favorite music. HTC Surround is a world phone which users can use with SIM cards from wireless carriers from other countries while traveling abroad.

This new HTC Surround is a 3G handset letting users to browse the web at lightening fast speed over device’s full HTML web browser. To have rapid internet access, this device is provided with Wi-Fi feature. The device is integrated with multiples of email accounts like AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, and Windows Live and there is an available instant messenger in the device which is compatible with Windows Live. HTC Surround is also compatible with picture messaging.

New touch phone, HTC Surround, that gives 4 hours of talk time, is being offered by AT&T at pricing of $199.99 with 2 years contract at minimum $15 a month pricing. The no commitment pricing of the handset over the wireless carrier is $499.99.
