Here is the latest reports about the much awaited BlackBerry Torch 2 smartphone. BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone is confirmed as RIM( Research In Motion) announced their plans to launch the BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone recently. The new BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone sports a 3.2-inch Capacitive touch screen that supports a resolution of 640X480 pixels.

BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone has got a similar design as that of the BlackBerry Torch smartphone and comes powered with a two times powerful 1.2GHz processor. Other specifications of BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone includes a 512MB RAM, 8GB flash storage, Magnetometer, Near Field Communication (NFC), 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, accelerometer and proximity sensor.

BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone runs on the BlackBerry 6.1 operating system and supports OpenGL ES API.  BlackBerry Torch 2 Smartphone comes with support to Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Tri-band UMTS/HSPA 14.4Mbps networks.
