Samsung China release its latest Flip Phone-Samsung W899 that comes based on the Android Mobile OS. This Samsung W899 will be available in China throigh China Telecom but the price and the release-date of Samsung W899 is still unknown. The all new Samsung W899 has got the Clamshell formfactor and is the first Android flip phone from the company.
Samsung W899 sports a two 3.3-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and an alphanumeric keyboard. This can be in opened state and closed. Other specifications of the new Samsung W899 includes 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, onboard 512MB memory and microSD card slot.
Samsung W899 phone comes with support to the CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and GSM / GPRS / EDGE networks and runs on the latest Android 2.2 OS Froyo Mobile Operating System.
