Asus Eee PC 1015PN netbook - Features and Details
Asus has been launching one PC model after another in the market, but their new Asus Eee PC 1015PN is bound to make heads turn. The look and feel of this new ASUS Eee PC 1015PN is very similar to the previous model, 1215N but the glossy plastic exterior hull has been removed.
This new ASUS Eee PC 1015PN is powered by the 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor, which is fast and compact. The 1015PN has a 2 GB RAM, a built in 250 GB hard drive and an add-on – the web storage feature, all of 500GB. It also features a sleek 10.1 inch LCD display screen, which can render a maximum on screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
This new ASUS Eee PC 1015PN netbook comes with the latest Microsoft operating system and a suite of photo editing software has also been included. Also the NVIDIA Ion graphics card feature enables 3D rendering. The Netbook has three USB ports, an Ethernet slot and comes with HDMI and VGA jacks. A headphone, a mic and a card reader are add-ons that come along with the laptop.
Even though, the netbook comes with a 6 cell 56 watt hour battery, it has only four and a half hours of continuous electrical support. Another major concern is that the system gets heated up fast. The other notable thing is that the speakers, though tiny are considerably powerful. This new ASUS Eee PC 1015PN netbook is priced at $430.
