New LG Ally Touchscreen with Android 2.2

LG Ally is an already existing Android Smartphone, which uses the 2.1 version of Android in it, but now it's hearing that the upgraded version of LG Ally, by getting Froyo 2.2 OS is coming in this February.

This new LG Ally, is a touch phone with side out slide full QWERTY keyboard, the handset has 3.2 inch TFT display which offers 800×480 pixel resolution along with 262,000 color support. It should be noted that this new Smartphone is powered by 600 Mhz processor. Business users will find the included Microsoft QuickOffice utility, a great tool to better manage their mobile work space. With Microsoft QuickOffice, they can edit and read their important office documents.

Some of the popular features in this LG Ally includes built in camera, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB port, Wi-Fi, mini-phone 3.5 mm headphone jack etc. LG Ally features 3.2 MP camera with automatic focus adjustment and LED light for user to snap images/videos. Users can also geotag the snapped photographs, and can directly upload them over their online social networks including Picasa, Flickr, Picasa etc., with the device itself.

This new Smartphone, LG Ally is also included with Google Maps apps for navigation support and has also integrated numbers of popular Google mobile apps as well including Google Search, You Tube and Gmail. One can also access Twitter and Facebook with his Google Contacts, in this handset. Google talk, Mobile Email, Internet browser and EV-DO are some of the other featured connectivity options in the device.

This new handset, LG Ally features 512 MB of internal memory and can further be raised with the microSD card slot. It also offers up to 7.5 hours of talk time and 20.8 days of standby time. This new LG Ally is offered in the US, by Verizon wireless for $99.99 with two year contract and for $369.99, without any contracts.
