Today Nokia officially announced that the company will start the shipping of the recently unveiled Symbian Smartphone C6. The Nokia C6 will comes under the model name 'c6-01'. Nokia C6-01 smartphone sports a 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display supporting a max.resolution of 640X360 pixels. The Nokia C6-01 is World's Second touchscreen Sybian ^3 Smartphone.

The Nokia C6-01 smartphone display also features Nokia's ClearBlack technology for perfect display at the sunlight also. Other C6-01 smartphone specs include 8 MP camera with 720p HD video recording and Dual LED Flash, 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS etc. Nokia offers the C6-01 touchscreen Symbian smartphone in 2 colors -Silver and Black. The C6-01 is also one of Nokia’s greenest devices to date, featuring the use of bioplastics and recycled metals for much of its construction.

The new Nokia C6 is the smallest and most affordable of the new family of Symbian devices. The Nokia C6-01 measures 103.8 x 52.5 x 13.9mm in Size and weighs aroung 131g. Nokia C6-01 smartphone is expected to be available at a price of €260 (ie; $368).
