MSI FX603 Notebook Specifications and Review

Other than the CX620 3D notebook, MSI company has launched its ultra portable notebook model - FX603. MSI FX603 has got a classic design which includes Chiclet keyboard, the hotkey zone’s brush metal finish and the raised multipoint touchpad. It sports a 15.6-inch HD LED backlight display with a max. resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The 15.6-inch MSI FX603 notebook comes powered with either of a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-460M, 2.4GHz Core i5-450M, 2.26GHz Core i5-430M, 2.26GHz Core i3-350M or 2.13GHz Core i3-330M processor. It also comes equipped with MSI’s GPU Boost technology which enables the notebook to switch between the dedicated graphics and the integrated Intel graphics to offer better performance.

MSI FX603 Notebook specifications include 320GB/500GB/640GB hard drive, up to 8DDR3 SDRAM and a 1GB nVidia GeForce GT 425M discrete graphics card. The MSI notebook supports TDE (Turbo Drive Engine) technology that designed for overclocking facility. Other standard features of the MSI FX603 notebook includes built-in HD webcamera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 5-in-1 card reader, HDMI port, DVD Super Multi drive, and professional theater-grade THX TruStudio Pro.

MSI FX603 Notebook comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. It measures about 383 x 249.3 x 38 mm in size and weighs about 2.4 kg (with 6-cell battery).
