MainGear has recently added and introduced two new high performance notebook options that namely the Maingear ALT-15 and the Maingear ALT-17. Both notebooks are based on Intel Calpella platform and has 15.6-inch (ALT-15) or 17.3-inch (ALT-17) LED-backlit displays with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Maingear ALT-15 and ALT-17 notebook is powered by a Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, choice of HDD, SSD or HHD (hybrid hard drive) for up to 750GB of storage space. They are sport a DVD or Blu-ray drive, Gigabit Ethernet, a 2.0 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.
The price of Maingear ALT-15 is starts of $1,049, while the MainGear ALT-17 has a base price of $1,099.
