Here us another smartphone launching this week. The latest news is that AT&T is going to release the Samsung Focus (SGH-I917) smartphone on 8 November. Yes with this, the Samsung Focus Windows smartphone is also entering the competition with the other smartphones.
The Samsung Focus specifications includes a 5 Megapixel camera with HD video recording, auto focus and flash, GPS support with AT&T Navigator, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and is equipped with 8GB internal memory and has support upto 32GB microSD/SDHC. The new Focus Smartphone from Samsung will run on the Microsoft Windows Phone 7 OS.
The Samsung smartphone supports tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. While coming to the pricing and availability, the AT&T Samsung Focus smartphone will available through Amazon.com at a price of $199.99, with a 2-year contract after rebate of course.
