Today Acer US has launched its latest AMD powered TravelMate series laptop - Acer TravelMate 5542. The main attraction of this Acer laptop is the AMD platform instead of the coommon Intel platform on which it is built. This new Acer TravelMate 5542 laptop is designed for the medium class business customers.
While coming to the Acer TravelMate 5542 Laptop specs, it comes powered with 2.2GHz AMD Athlon II P340 processor along with the 4GB of RAM, 250GB/320GB hard drive and integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics. It comes pre-loaded with the 32-bit Windows 7 Professional Operating System.
Acer's AMD powered TravelMate 5542 laptop packs a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 pixels resolution LED-backlit display. Other features of the Acer 5542 laptop includes a DVD writer, built-in 1.3 megapixel Crystal Eye webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, 2-in-1 memory card reader and Gigabit Ethernet.
Acer TravelMate 5542 business notebook is available in US at a price of $549.
