Acer Europe introduces its latest model - Aspire 5742 notebook which is based on the Intel Calpella processing Platform. The all new Acer Aspire 5742 notebook sports a 15.6-inch CineCrystal HD display which supports a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
The Specifications of the Aspire 5742 notebook includes processor up to 2.53GHz Intel Core i3/ Core i5, memory upto 4GB of RAM and storage up to 500GB hard drive. The 15.6-inch Aspire 5742 notebook comes equipped Intel integrated graphics core or dedicated GeForce 420M graphics. It comes pre-installed with Windows 7 home Premium Operatinf System.
Other Acer Aspire 5742 notebook features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, DVD burner, built-in 1.3 MegaPixel Crystal Eye webcam, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, a multi card reader, HDMI, D-Sub connectors and three USB ports. Acer offer the new Aspire 5742 series notebook in black, brown and red colors. It measures around 381 x 253 x 25-34 mm in size and weighs 2.6 kg.
Acer Aspire 5742 notebook is available in Europe for €599.
