Nissan introduced its 2011 model Micra at the Geneva Auto Show 2010 and at the show, Nissan Co announced its plan to launch this 2011 Nissan Micra Diesel in India. The all new 2011 Nissan Micra which is designed and built on the Nissan company’s all-new V-platform, combines better performance with sylish look. It comes fine-tuned to meet the differing tastes and needs of customers in 160 countries worldwide.
2011 Nissan Micra comes powered with a 4 Cylinder line-in 1461cc diesel engine which delivers a maximum power of 65 Bhp @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 160 Nm @ 2000 rpm. It comes with a 5-speed manual gear transimssion and offers a 23 KMPL fuel economy(Mileage). Nissan tried to improve driving comfort, safety and look rather than working on the performance level.
With the Nissan's V-platform, the suspension has been designed to be both compact, minimizing intrusion at the rear for maximum trunk space, but not at the expense of the car’s on-road dynamics. Particular attention has been paid to bump absorption, meaning that the Micra will ride serenely over challenging road surfaces, not suffer from wallow or float, and cruise effortlessly at highway speeds.
Nissan offers the new 2011 Micra in two variants - Nissan Micra Diesel XV and Nissan Micra Diesel XV Premium Nissan Micra Diesel XV variant comes with single driver side airbag, manual AC, power windows, music system and black interiors. On the otehr hand Nissan Micra XV Premium variant gets automatic climate control system, push button engine start/stop system, alloys, keyless entry and beige interiors.

Other standard features of the 2011 Nissan Micra includes McPherson Struts suspension, Power steering, ABS breaking, 43.00 litres fuel tank, Body Color bumpers, tachometer, Alloys, AC and remote central locking. Safety measures added to the 2011 Nissan Micra models include 1 Airbag, parking sensors, Fog lamps, built-in electronic stabilization programs and Rear Defogger.
Nissan micra comes available in 6 color shades which includes Sunlight Orange, Blade Silver, Storm White, Onyx Black, Pacific Blue and Brick Red. It is expected that the new Nissan micra 2011 will be launched by December 2010 and the excepted price of 2011 Nissan Micra Diesel is around Rs. 6,00,000. Price may vary according to the places.
