Dodge officially announced the specifications and features of its upcoming 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 coupe model. As per the announcement, it will be the fastest car in the 2011 Dodge Models. It is expected to be released by either the end of 2010 or early 2011.
As per the announcement, the new 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 will be powered by the 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI V-8 engine which delivers a maximum power of 470 horsepower and a max.torque of 470 lb.-ft. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 5 speed automatic transmission which is optional. As per the calculations, it will have a top-speed of 180mph and has an acceleration of 0-60mph in just 4 seconds.

The all new Challenger SRT8 392 from Dodge will comes available in a choice of two color combos -either Deep Water Blue finish with standard Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with standard Viper Blue stripes. It has also got a unique "392 HEMI" badges, Mopar quad exhaust tips, a larger front splitter, a decklid spoiler and integrated front fender spats. Interior features of the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 includes standard Smooth Pearl White leather-trimmed seats and dual blue stripes accented by unique blue stitching, along with a numbered plaque showing the sequential build number from 1 to 1,492.
