Hyundai is planning to launch yet another SUV in India soon. Since Tucson hasn't gained much owners till date, the arrival of this new vehicle will not lag. The new Santa Fe is not modified Tucson. It is a D+ segment SUV which comes only in petrol engine. Santa Fe has got a 2188, 4 Cyl SOHC engine which can deliver a maximum power of 154 hp at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 343 Nm at 1800 rpm. Santa Fe comes with a 6 speed automatic gear box and acceptable mileage up to 15 km/l on highways and 11 km/l in cities.
Hyundai is planning introduce Santa Fe in India by beginning of next year. They are planning to sell this D+ segment , highly powered and stylish SUV for a price in the range of 25 - 30 lakh rupees. So Hyundai Santa Fe will be a strong competitor for Honda CR-V, Suzuki XL7 and Audi Q1. It is very important that none of the competitors have such a high power and good mileage as that of Santa Fe. So Santa Fe will be the best machine from Hyundai to raise their benchmark in the SUV segment.
