Along with C7 Smarphone, Nokia also announced its yet another smartphone based on the Symbian 3 Operating system - NOKIA E7. The new smartphone is the successor of E90 communicator. The new Nokia Symbian smartphone sports a larger 4.0-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard and comes with support to GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G networks and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 2100 /1900 3G networks.
While coming to the Nokia E7 Symbian Smartphone specifications, it comes powered with ARM 11 680 MHz processor, 16 GB storage, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM and a 3D Graphics HW accelerator. Display features of Nokia E7 smartphone includes Multi-touch input, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Scratch-resistant and Touch sensitive controls. The phone also features the ClearBack technology which offer better visibility on the outside.
Other Nokia E7 phone features include 3G, Bluetooth,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, FM Radio with RDS, Digital compass, TV-out via HDMI. Above all , Nokia E7 smartphone is equipped with 8 MegaPixel camera and a VGA front camera. Noka E7's camera features include dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, face detection and a max resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. With the 8MP camera, the phone offers 720p HD video recording with video stabilization.
Nokia offers the E7 smartphone in 5 color variants - Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue, Orange. It measures about 123.7 x 62.4 x 13.6 mm in dimensions and weighs just 176g. The phone gets a Li-Ion 1200 mAh (BL-4D) with which it offers upto 480 h (3G) standby time and Up to 5 h (3G) talktime.
Nokia offers the new E7 business smartphone at a price of around Rs 30000/- (EUR 495) and will be available late this year.
