Other than B53 Business notebooks, Asus also introduced its P52 series notebooks to the European customers. Asus P52 series notebook comes designed based on the Intel's Calpella processing platform. This Asus notebook series features a spill-resistant keyboard, and is equipepd with Intel’s Anti-Theft technology.
Currently four models are available under the P52 series notebooks which includes the Asus P52F-SO006X, Asus P52JC-SO009X, Asus P52F-SO017X, and Asus P52JC-SO012X. All of these models sports a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The main difference between these four models is in the processor and memory configurations. Asus P52F-SO006X and P52JC-SO009X notebooks comes with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-370M processor and 2GB RAM while the P52F-SO017X and P52JC-SO012X notebook models features 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-450M processor and 4GB memory.
Other Asus P52 notebook specifications include 320GB hard drive, in-built 0.3MP webcamera, DVD Burner, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet LAN and memory card reader. This P52 notebook comes equipped with either of Intel GMA HD integrated graphics or a 1GB nVidia GeForce G310M graphics with Optimus technology. The notebook equips a 6-cell 4400 mAh battery, and Altec Lansing speaker.
While coming to the price details, the Asus P52F-SO006X notebook is priced at €749 while the cost of Asus P52JC-SO009X, Asus P52F-SO017X, and Asus P52JC-SO012X is €809, €879 and €939 respectively.
