Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch yet another SUV in India soon. Since Grand Vitara hasn't gained much owners till date, the arrival of this new vehicle will not lag. The new XL7 is not modified Vitara. XL7 is a D+ segment SUV which comes only in petrol engine. XL7 has got a 3600cc DOHC 24 valve engine which can deliver a maximum power of 252 hp at 6400rpm and a maximum torque of 243lb.-ft. at 2300 rpm. XL7 comes with a 6 speed manual gear box and excellent mileage up to 22 km/l on highways and 16 km/l in cities.
Maruti Suzuki is planning introduce XL7 in India by end of this year. They are planning to sell this D+ segment , highly powered and stylish SUV for a price in the range of 20 lakh rupees. So XL7 will be a strong competitor for Honda CR-V, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor. It is very important that none of the competitors have such a high power and good mileage as that of XL7.
