Ford's new crossover Kuga may arrive India in the coming months. This c+ segment car which comes in both petrol and diesel variants is expected to come to India by September 2010. Ford has included their latest duratec engine in this vehicle.
Ford is happy to introduce Kuga in India because there is no other cross overs available in India challenging Kuga's performance. So Kuga's main competitors will be SUVs like Ford Endevour ,Chevrolet captiva, Suzuki grand Vitara and Toyota Fortuner. Kuga's models coming to India may have 4 cylinder engines which deliver a max power of 200 Bhp at 6000 rpm and a Maximum Torque of 320 Nm at 1600 rpm.
Kuga comes with most of the safety features and luxuries which are limited to its price range but Ford has kept their "value for money" policy in this machine also. It would be better if Ford introduce a sun roof and traction control unit in Kuga. any way Kuga will be available for a price ranging from Rs. 1600000 - 1700000. ford India is planning to sell Kuga Through all their dealer outlets all over India. Will Kuga do good on Indian roads ! ! . lets see........
