Volkswagen is going to introduce Volkswagen Vento in Indian market by the end of Julay 2010. It is actually the the sedan version of new polo hatch back. The main competitors for Volkswagen Vento in Indian market will be Swift Dzire, Hyundai Verna and Fiat Linea.
Volkswagen Vento is coming with 1598cc, 4 Cylinder, 8 Valve Diesel engine having a maximum power of 105 bhp and maximum Torque of 255 Nm. Vento Gearbox is 5 speed manual gearbox. It is available in 6 different shades Candy white, Flash red, Pepper grey, Glacier blue, Silver and Deep black.
The expected price for Vento in India is around Rs 7-9 lakh.

VW Vento will be available in petrol as well as desiel. Petrol model will have auto transmission.
