HTC, the leading Smartphone manufacturers recently announced its Android smartphone - HTC Incredible and now th latest reports is that the Verizon wireless has changed the name of the Smartphone to 'Droid'. The HTC Droid Phone gets a 3.7-inch display WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and is powered with the 1 GHz Qualcomm snapdragon processor.
HTC Droid Incredible run the latest Android 2.1 version along with HTC's Sense UI. The phone comes equipped with 8GB internal memory and is supports upto 16GB microSD card. The HTC Droid Incredible Smartphone also features built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a proximity sensor, a light sensor and digital compass, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. The device comes with a high quality 8 MP camera equipped with two LED flashes.
The phone measures about 4.63" x 2.30" x 0.47" inches and weighing 4.59oz(132 grams). It comes with a Standard 1130 mAh Li-Ion Battery which gives up to 312 Minutes of talk time and standby time of 146Hours. HTC Droid Incredible Smartphone will be launched in India and the U.S by late April or May first week. It is available for $200 with a two-year contract in U.S but the pricing in Indian market is not announced yet.
