Toshiba Satellite A660 Multimedia Notebook with Intel WiDi technology

Toshiba UK introduces its new satellite series multimedia laptop - Toshiba Satellite A660 Notebook. Toshiba designed this new A660 notebook for the handling of rich multimedia with the help of Intel Core Series Processors. The notebook comes packs a 16-inch TruBrite HD LED backlit screen with 1366 x 768 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.

While coming to the Design features, the Satellite A660 features an updated and improved keyboard design with dedicated multimedia controls. The keyboard comes in a matt black finish, contrasting with the textured design for a premium look and feel. The Satellite A660 notebooks also gets the Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology with which the users can wirelessly stream videos and music from the laptop to a wireless display-enabled TV set, using a Wi-Fi connection.

Toshiba Satellite A660 Notebook comes powered with either of Intel Core i3, Core i5 ore Core i7 Processors and is also equipped with memory upto 8GB, Storage upto up to 640GB and 1GB dedicated nVidia GPU for graphics acceleration. Other Toshiba Satellite A660 Specifications includes a Blu-ray or DVD SuperMulti optical drive, built-in HD webcam, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, Harman Kardon speakers, 5-in-1 card reader, HDMI output and one eSATA/USB combo port.

Toshiba Satellite A660 Multimedia Netbook features the new USB Sleep-and-Music mode and this is the first Toshiba model to host this feature. With the USB Sleep-and-Music mode users are able to play music from a connected MP3 player through the laptop’s integrated Harman Kardon speakers when the laptop is in Sleep or Stand By mode.

Toshiba Satellite A660 Multimedia notebook will be available by June 2010 and the pricing details is not announced yet.
