Sony is going to launch its new External DVD writer - Sony DRX-S77U. The main thing about the new Sony DRX-S77U DVD Burner is that it get an ultra slim design and is about 19mm thick. The Sony DRX-S77U External Slim DVD Writer uses the USB 2.0 interface and hsa got a 2MB cache memory.
Sony DRX-S77U External DVD burner features the buffer under-run protection and supports DVD+/-R, DVD+/-R DL, DVD+RW, DVD-RW , DVD-RAM and CD-R/RW. The new Sony DVD burner writes DVD+/-R at 8X, DVD+/-R DL at 6X, DVD+RW at 8X, DVD-RW at 6X, DVD-RAM at 5X and CD-R/RW at 24X.
Sony's DRX-S77U Slim External DVD Burner will comes available in 4 colors- Black, White, Pink and Gold. The DVD burner comes bundled with the latest Nero 9 burning software, AC Adaptor , AC Power Cord, Quick Start Guide, and USB cable . The DVD burner is compatiable to Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7
Sony DRX-S77U measures about 136.5 mm x 19 mm x 146.5mm dimesnsions and weighs just 300 gram. There is no informations about the Pricing and availability of the External DVD burner and is expected to be announced soon by the company.
