Sagem Wireless announced its Puma Phone two months ago at the MWC 2010. The Puma Phone which is built on Solar battery will be available from the May. But recent reports shows that before the sales of Puma Phone begin, Sagem and Puma is planning to introduce the Sagem Puma 2.
Sagem Puma 2 will be an Android based Smartphone featuring the Android 2.1 OS. The Puma 2 Smartphone also comes preloaded with most of the social networking sites and the PUMA apps. The PUMA 2 smartphone will be simpler and chaper when compared to the first generation Puma phone. The phone offers easy access to shopping sites and News. Puma 2 smartphone specifications will be same as that of PUMA phone. Sagem will officially announce the PUMA 2 Android smartphone later by 2011 Q1.
At the same time, Sagem is also going to introduce Netribe another Android phone. Sagem Netribe will be an eco friendly phone which features solar cells, atmospheric sensors, biometrics, and NFC. The phone comes equipped with touchscreen display and 3.2 MegaPixel Camera. Other specifications will be announced later and the phone will be available from 2010 Q3 in Europe around a price of $150.
