NEC Display Solutions updates the P series LCD Displays with the new 52-Inch P521 model. The NEC P521 features full HD 52-inch screen with 1920X1080 pixels of resolution. The new P521 NEC display is designed to replace the MultiSync LCD5220 model.

NEC P521 full HD display is an industrial strength display which is ideal in rigorous 24/7 environments such as airports, public information, rental and staging and healthcare. The new P521 display gets a premium-grade panel with advanced thermal protection and has a sealed panel design, which provides protection against dust, grease and steam in less than optimal environments

NEC P521 specifications include 2000:1 contrast ratio, up to 700cd/m2 brightness, AmbiBright auto brightness/contrast adjustment, built-in IP tuner, which allows users to stream content up to 1080p directly to the display, and Enhanced Digital Signage Technology Suite. Other features of NEC P521 includes HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D, VGA, BNC (RGBHV), composite, component, S-Video inputs as well as Ethernet, RS-232 in/out, IR and DDC/CI.

The P521 full hd display will be available from April 2010 last week and comes with a standard 3 year warranty. NEC display solutions offers the 52-Inch P521 LCD display at a price of $2,999.

• Built-in IP tuner, which allows users to stream content up to 1080p directly to the display, as well as ATSC/NTCS/Clear QAM signals (P521-AVT version)
