Yesterday we had seen the leaked tablet device - Dell Looking Glass. Now here is another tablet device from the Dell which was officially unveiled at the 2010 Mobile World Congress and comes with the name Dell Streak (aka Dell mini 5). As per the company, Dell Streak is an ultra portable tablet device features 5-inch display and the Android OS.
While coming to the Dell Streak Specifications, the Android tablet device comes powered with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD 8250 processor, 256MB RAM and a 512 MB flash memory. The Dell Streak Tablet device packs a 5-Inch TFT touchscreen display supporting multitouch feature and a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The device is works with UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 850/1900/2100 MHz and GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz network. It is running on Google Android 2.1 mobile operating system.
Major features of the Dell Streak Tablet device includes 5 megapixel autofocus camera, VGA front facing camera for video calling, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, touchscreen display, GPS, e-compass, a ambient light sensor, a microSD card slot, a 1530 mAh battery, accelerometer, USB2.0 and 3G module for connecting to mobile networks. The Dell Streak 5-inch tablet device measures about 153×80x10 mm in dimensions and weighs 220g.
Dell Streak 5-inch Android Tablet device is expected to be released by the 2010 Q3, most probably by late August or early september. Also reports that Dell is planning to introduce 7-inch and 10-inch Streak Tablet devices which wasn't confirmed yet.
