AMD recently launched its new Radeon HD 5830 GPU which is a cut down version of the HD 5850 card. The AMD HD 5830 card is a 800MHz GPU comes with 1120 stream processors, 56 texture units, 16 ROPs and 1000MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. The new 5830 HD GPU is made using the 40nm process and comes with the DirectX 11 graphics support.
While coming to the performance, the new AMD HD 5830 will beat the GTX 275 in some tests and supports Eyefinity . The AMD HD Radeon 5830 GPU is expected to be priced at $239. As per expert reviews, the new 5830 HD GPU will offer 80 percent of performance for 80 percent of the price.
