Apple is very Popular in the name of iPod's and iPhone's which revolutinzed the market for a very long time. Now Apple Company comes with yet another interesting product - iPad. iPad is a tablet device which comes as a much larger version of the iPod Touch or iPhone. The new Apple iPad gets a larger 9.7 inch IPS LCD display which features LED-backlit, multitouch, 1024×768 resolution, and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.


While coming to the iPad Specifications, the Apple iPad is boosted by the 1GHz Apple A4 low-power SoC and comes in wide range of storage from 16GB to 64GB. Other features of the new iPad tablet device includes Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity, built-in speakers, and microphone. The iPad gadget is also comes equipped with accelerometer and ambient light sensor. Ipad is also available in 3G models.


Apple iPad comes preloaded with the latest iPhone OS which enhances the iPod, iTunes, Mail and Contact features. It comes with 25Whr rechargeable lithium-polymer battery which provides 10 hours of web surfing with WiFi or watchiing video of playing music on the Speakers. The iPad is now available in six different models - 16GB, 32GB and 64Gb WiFi Model and 16GB, 32GB and 64GB WiFi + 3G Model.

The iPad is available at $499 for the16GB WiFi Model, $599for the 32GB WiFi Model and $699 for the 64GB WiFi Model while the 16 GB WiFi + 3G Model is priced at $629, 32 GB WiFi + 3G Model is priced at $729 and 64 GB WiFi + 3G Model is priced at $829.

My initial reaction when I saw the Apple iPad was confusion. What functionality does this device offer over and above the Apple iPhone? And what market is Apple aiming this device at?
