Finally Nokia brings out the latest 2.0 fimware update for the Nokia N97. The latest firmware updates offers new features and also fixes the bugs in the previous firmware versions. The latest firmware versions include 20.0.019, 20.1.021 and 20.2.019 depending on your product code.
The new N97 firmware 2.0 offers some more features which include improved touchscreen scrolling, Nokia e-mail, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Store, VoIP support, an updated Ovi Maps 3.1 which include 3D maps too. The latest firmware 2.0 also provides Improved memory and battery performance and Improved image and video stability.
Users are given two options to update the software. One is by using the Software Update option in the Application menu in the phone and the second one is that user can download it using Nokia Software Updater on PCs and install to the phone using the USB cable
