Nokia mush awaited business phone E72, the successor one of E71 in india. The phone reaches indian market a week after its international launch. Nokia company hopes that E72 will also get good response as that got for the previous Nokia E71.The smartphone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE, WCDMA 900/1900/2100 and HSDPA 10.2Mbps networks.
The design of Nokia E72 is similar to that of the E71 and the E72 comes with addition of some more better features. Nokia E72 is a QWERTY phone which has a 2.36-inch LCD display. There is a front camera for video calls. Nokia E72 comes with the latest version of S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2.
Nokia E72 smartphone specifications include 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi 802.11b/g, built-in GPS and A-GPS. The phone is equipped with a 250MB internal memory and comes with support upto 16GB microSD cards. unlike E71 , the new E72 QWERTY smartphone has a 3.5mm jack. The phone comes pre-installed with Nokia Messaging and a host of Office Productivity Suites.
