Asustek Computers announced its new ION netbook , Eee PC 1201N. Netbooks are considered to be the Portable Computers rather than Performance systems. But here Asustek is changing this meaning with the introduction of its new Eee PC 1201N multimedia netbook. The Asus Eee PC 1201N is stylish, slim and lightweight multimedia netbook PC. The Eee PC 1201N comes with a 12.1-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display.
Asus Eee PC 1201N netbook is a high performance multimedia netbook that is powered by Intel Atom 330 dual core processor and NVIDIA’s ION graphics processor. Other major Specifications of Asus Eee PC 1201N ION netbook includes 2GB/3GB of DDR2 RAM and a 200GB/320GB hard drive. The Eee PC 1201N netbooks also features Bluetooth 2.1+EDR , WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, 0.3 Megapixel webcam, stereo speakers, multi-in-one card reader, HDMI port and built-in microphone.
Asus netbooks comes Nvidia CUDA technology which boosts the Eee PC 1201N's ability to work with visual content, accelerating processor-intensive tasks such as video editing and conversion, ArcSoft SimHD, which upscales standard definition video content to high definition. The notebook is preinstalled with microsofts latest Operating System, Windows 7 and comes available in four colours - Black, Silver, Blue and Red.
