Android 2.0 coming with Updated features

Android is the Mobile operating system developed by the Google for the smartphones. After the introduction of this new Google Android many smartphones have been using this OS and Android becomes the true challenger to the Symbian OS. Recently there is a new announcement from the google Android developers blog that the latest Android version, Android 2.0 is now available for the Developers.

Google announced that the new version of Android will be supported by the Android SDK and the codename of the new Android 2.0 version is "Eclair". The latest 2.0 version of Android offers some more features than the previous one and the latest additions include new developer APIs for sync, Bluetooth, and a few other areas. Using the new sync, account manager and contacts APIs, you can write applications to enable users to sync their devices to various contact sources. You can also give users a faster way to communicate with others by embedding Quick Contact within your application. With the new Bluetooth API, you can now easily add peer-to-peer connectivity or gaming to your applications.



Android 2.0 also offers improved camera features such as Built-in flash support, Digital zoom, Scene mode, White balance, Color effect and Macro focus. Google Android Version 2.0 brings with it a refreshed browser UI as well as support for HTML5. You can now double tap the browser for zooming in. Sources indicate that the Motorola's Droid Smartphone will be the first device to some out with the Latest Android 2.0 version and will be confirmed by the next month.
