Livescribe unveils its first Smartpen which is named as Pulse. Livescribe Pulse Smartpen is a computer within a pen which easily captures handwriting and simultaneously records audio and synchronizes it to writing. Livescribe Pulse Smartpen comes available in 4GB and 2 GB internal memory.
Livescribe Pulse Smartpen is designed stylishly with a titanium color.The 4GB model can store about 400 hours of audio. The Pulse has an InfraRed camera for capturing handwriting, built-in microphone for voice recording, built-in speaker for audio playback, an OLED display showing the status of voice recorder and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 2GB and 4GB Pulse Smartpen are priced at $169.95 and $199.95 respectively.
At the same time Livescribe also brings the Pro-Pack bundle for business professionals. The pack includes the 4GB Pulse smartpen in an exclusive black color, an A5 size starter notebook, a premium leather carrying case, handwriting to text transcription software, and the new Pro Charging Cradle.
