KTM 690 Duke naked bike is going to hit indian roads by early 2010. KTM Duke 690 is a middleweight streetfighter which carries on being present in the Austrian manufacturer’s lineup and stands for the same qualities as it did in the past – all-around maneuverability, performance and, of course, good looks.
The KTM 690 Duke is anaked bike similar to Yamaha FZ16 and 654cc KTM 690 Duke naked bike is powered by single cylinder 4 strike engine that delivers a maximum power of 65 Bhp @ 7500 rpm and Maximum Torque of 67 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The KTM 690 Duke bike comes with a 6 speed transmission and is equipped with APTC Wet multi-disc clutch and comprises the liquid cooling technology.
Featuring a Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection with Electronic Power Throttle, this engine is conceded as being instant power and torque delivering and that made us even more eager to get on it. Features like the WP USD 48mm fork and WP mono shock as well as the Brembo four piston and 320mm disc front and single piston and 240mm disc rear brakes are supposed to contribute at the bike’s overall versatility and show that stopping is always faster than acceleration.
The 2009 KTM 690 Duke has a topspeed of 105mph and is equipped with liquid cooling technology. KTM 690 Duke bike will be available by 2010 in india and is to be available at an expected price of Rs 7Lakh.
