Fiat after the big success of Linea and Pundo now introducing Fiat 500 in Indian market. 500 is now importing to India as a single company built unit and expected that they will start production in India after getting a positive market response. The main rival for Fiat 500 in Indian market will be Maruti Suzuki Swift which is having almost same power. Fiat 500 is a 2 door 2 seater small car which is best for city driving.
As we consider the technical specifications, Fiat 500 is coming with 4 cylinder in line engine which will deliver a maximum power of 75 bhp at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 1500 rpm . The Fiat 500 engine is electronically controlled common rail multijet direct injection with turbo charger and inter cooler which is having a displacement of 1248cc. Fiat 500 is having a 5 speed transmission.
As the performance is considered 500 will take only 12.5 sec to reach 100 km/hr from 0 , and having a top speed of 165 km/h
