Google recently introduced their updated version of Google Reader with more features added to the existing one. The new features added to the Google Reader will helps the Users to share, manage and discover content in the Reader. The users of Google Reader is now able to share certain sites that want to share with some other. The main features google recently included are "Send To", "Feeds from people you follow" and More control for mark all as read.
With the new "Send To" option, Google made it more easier to share articles which you like to Twitter, Facebook and Blogger. You can enable the services you want to use by just going to the settings Page and also can create your own one with the "Send To" link with a URL template.
Google has also introduced a more granular system for clicking the "mark all as read" button, which would originally just restart your read count back to zero. People will find problems with too many unread items, and sometimes only want to see recent posts.The new "mark all as read" feature lets you to choose only mark items as read for items older than a day, week, or month.
Other Google Reader Features at a Glance:
- "Feeds" start-page option for the iPhone/Android/Pre mobile interface, so you can see a list of your subscriptions when you sign in.
- You now get the full set of actions, enabling you to share, like, and star items without leaving comment view, when you expand an item in comment view.
- There is now an option to show notes when embedding your shared items on other pages as clips.
