Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1, Digital Camera with 20X Super-Zoom


Sony introduces its new Cyber shot DSC HX1 digital camera to the PMA 2009. Sony's new cybershot camera can be considered as a semi professional one. SonyCyber-shot DSC-HX1 is equipped with 20X super zoom facility. The DSC-HX1 is capable of up to 10 frames per second in burst mode using a high-speed mechanical shutter.

Sony’s new cybershot DSC-HX1 features 20x optical zoom G lens with 28mm wide-angle, Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN), Optical SteadyShot and face detection. It also comes with a 3 inch LCD screen and is capable of 1080p Full HD video recording at 30fps in AVC/H.264 format.This new Cyber-shot super-zoom camera can capture 224-degree panorama shots in one easy press-and-sweep motion.The new Cyber-shot HX1 is Sony’s first camera to have the 1/2.4-inch Exmor CMOS sensor technology offering a burst speeds of 10fps at full 9.1 megapixell resolution in continuous burst mode.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 is priced at about $500 and will be available from April 2009.
