HTC announced the launch of their new bar-type QWERTY smartphone, HTC Snap. Snap is a Smartphone with QWERTY keyboard which is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 .HTC SNAP is Powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor,and is equipped with 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM.
HTC Snap comes with a 2.4-inch LED-backlight display.The features of HTC SNAP includes a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth with EDR and A2DP, integrated GPS,WiFi 802.11b/g, and a microSD card slot. The phone has a trackball with Enter button. 900/2100 MHz HSDPA/WCDMA and quad-band GSM is supported by HTC Snap. The phone includes the Inner Circle function that allows users to easily prioritize messages from the most important people in their lives at the press of a button.
HTC Snap will be available from the second quarter of 2009. There will be a HSDPA at 850/1900MHz version for the US market and known as HTC S522.There is no news regarding the price of HTC Snap.
