Recently Porsche introduced the diesel model of the luxury car Cayenne.Porsche Cayenne is not only a two-ton-plus SUV, it comes with the same architecture of the Volkswagen Touareg.It uses the same 240bhp motor as in the VW Touareg.According to first reports, the average consumption of the Cayenne Diesel is 30.4mpg combined (9.3 litres/100 km).
The Cayrnne diesel is quieter than the normal Cayenne because its engine works best at such low revs, and, having reacquainted myself with the BMW X5 3.0d before driving the Cayenne. It’s also better to drive, though to think of any such car as being actively fun to drive is perhaps a mistake. It conceals its weight better than the BMW and performs as pleasantly on a good road as you could hope for any car of its weight.
