Hyundai three door i20 to be unveiled at Geneva Show

Hyundai is to launch its new three door hatch,i20 at the Geneva show. Hyundai i20 is aimed at younger buyers.The first pictures of i20 was revealed by the Hyundai.The company said that it should be unveiled at the geneva show on march 3.

Recently Hyundai launched Five door i20.The five door i20 was a great success and according to their concept the new body style will broaden the i20's appeal to the fast growng car market in Europe.In addition to a stylish new look, the three-door model offers a cheaper entry point for the i20 line-up than the five-door. It's positioned between the i10 and i30 and shares many of its styling features with the five-door.The nose and tail are unchanged but the doors much bigger.

While considering with the five door hyundai i20, the nose and tail are unchanged but the distinctive crease lines along each side are enhanced by longer front doors and up-swept rear windows. It shares the 2.525mm wheelbase but is 10kg lighter than the i20 five-door and, Hyundai says, will still accommodate adults in the rear seats with access past quick-release front seats. The system alows the front backrests to be tipped and the whole seat to slide forwards.

I20 Engine
Hyundai i20 comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine - dubbed 'Kappa' - the best-selling unit in the range. It's all-alloy, displaces 1248cc and is capable of 56kW and 119Nm.
The three-door 'i'-car will come with six crash bags on all models - front, side and curtain - and active, anti-whiplash head-restraints.
