The launch of the touch-screen phone 5800 XpressMusic in India were announced by Nokia.
The new Nokia 5800 features includes ‘Media Bar’ and ‘Contacts Bar’ functionalities.Media Bar helps users to access handy drop down menu for direct access to music and other entertainment features, whereas the Contacts Bar enables users to emphasize on four contacts on their home-screen and keep track of their digital history, comprising of messages, call logs, e-mails, photos and blog updates.
The music phone comes with stereo speakers with 3D surround sound effect, 3.5mm jack, support for all main digital music formats and ability to store over 6,000 tacks on the included 8 GB microSD card.The memory capacity of the phone can be expanded upto 16 GB using microSD card slot.
Camera features include 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeissoptics lens and dual-LED flash. Users can capture images and record VGA quality videos at 30fps and 16:9 aspect ratio.The latest XpressMusic phone also features a 3.2-inch display, 3G, HSDPA and WLAN connectivity, Nokia Maps with voice guided navigation through an integrated A-GPS function.
The Phone is bundled with an array of accessories such as pen stylus, music headset, video-out cable, portable stand and wrist strap with a carrying case.The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic touch-screen phone is immediately available across India at a price of Rs.19,999.
