HP Compaq new series Notebooks announced

Hewlett-Packard has announced their new Compaq notebooks in india with trendy and stylish designs.The new compaq notebooks comes with a wide range of multimedia features such as fingerprint reader,HDMI,backlit keyboard,built in TV tuner card etc.It also has an optinal blu ray drive and infra red remote control.

HP's latest offering include top of the order Compaq Presario V6425TU and V6406TU notebooks besides several other models.The company said that the new Compaq notebooks are designed for users who needs fast mobile performance and high processing strength.The new Compaq range will be available in the Indian market in between Rs 25,990 and Rs 45,990.

The nine series designed with preferences of the youth in mind and their needs for connectivity, entertainment and productivity.The HDMI 1.3 enables a user to download photographs, audio and video with audio having the effect of dolby digital unlike the otherwise stereo sound.

HP is expecting a 50 per cent year on year growth on notebooks. The notebook industry segment, which was 1.7 million last year, is expected to touch 2.4 million by end of the year.The usage of portables had also witnessed dramatic shift from being used for basic computing to connectivity and now for their entertainment value.The new series notebooks will be available in the HP stores,multi branded outlets and large format retailers.
