Nokia N1 Android 5.0 Lolipop Tablet with Z launcher and 7.9-inch display - Specifications, Features and Overview

After being acquired by Microsoft, Nokia plans new directions in the industry with its new Android Tablet - Nokia N1 which was officially announced last day.  The new Nokia N1 is its first android tablet from the company which looks to be an iPad Mini Clone. Here we discuss the specifications and overview of the Nokia N1 Android tablet. The main highlight of this N1 Android tablet is its 64 bit based CPU and the Z launcher developed by Nokia itself.

Coming to the specifications of the Nokia N1 Android Tablet, it comes powered with a 2.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor, PowerVR G6430 GPU and 2 GB Ram. It sports a 7.9-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 supporting a  2048 × 1536 pixel resolution and  a pixel density of 326 ppi. It has got a 32 GB storage and comes run on the latest Android 5.0 Lolipop. Other Nokia N1 specifications includes 8 MP rear camera, 5 MP front facing camera, WiFi 802.11/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and ual Band (2X2 MIMO). The smartphone comes equipped with 5300 mAh offering 24 hours usage time.

Coming to the design details, the Nokia N1 Android Lolipop tablet features an aluminum uni-body build that arriving in Natural Aluminum and Lava Grey color options. It has a dimension of  200.7 x 138.6 x 6.9 and weighs 318 g. For better audio experience,  the tablet features a 0.5W stereo speakers located on the bottom that backed by Wolfson WM8958E audio codec. Nokia N1 is one of the first devices which offers reversible USB connector and Nokia company confirms that the tablet will be having access to Google Play store too.

Per the sources, Nokia N1 Android tablet will be available by 2014 Q1 and comes available at a starting price of $249.

HTC launches One M8 Android Kitkat Smartphone with UltraPixel Camera and 14 days Standby Time

HTC introducded its new flagship Android Smartphone - HTC One M8 which is actually the successor of yester year HTC One. Per the latest reports, the all new HTC One M8 Smartphone will be available in India from the third week of April, while it will go on sale in globally from April 1. The price will be around $700 without contract.


Coming to the design, the HTC One M8 Android Smartphone is built with Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold and comes in all-metal design.  It comes running on the new HTC Sense 6 User interface which got new 'Motion Launch' gesture controls for enabling certain features on the phone without activating or even touching the screen that is similar to voice control feature on recently launched Moto X smartphone. Another highlight of the HTC One M8 Android Smartphone is its extreme power Saving Mode that ensures a 14 day stand by time.

Regarding Specification, the HTC One M8 Smartphone is powered with 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core processor, 2GB RAM, and includes storage upto 32GB onboard and comes with expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system and the HTC sense 6 UI. Other features of the HTC One M8 Smartphone includes 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, IR blaster, standard accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and gyro, as well as a barometer for detecting changes in air pressure immediately around you.

The HTC One M8 Kitkat Smartphone got a 5-inch full HD 1080p display and the HTC's UltraPixel module as the primary camera with a dual colour flash and full 1080p HD video recording. It also got a 5-MP front camera for video calling. HTC One M8 Smartphone is equipped with a 2600 mAh batterty which is claimed to offer 40 per cent longer battery life than other models.
