Acer announced its beTouch E140 Budget friendly smartphone model two weeks ago and last day the company officially confirmed the availability of the smartphone in UK and Russia. Acer beTouch E140 comes based on the latest Android 2.2 Froyo platform. There are no details about the pricing of smartphone, but is expected price of beTouch E140 is around €200.
Acer beTouch E140 has got a tiny plastic chassis and sports a 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touchscreen display. Acer beTouch E140 smartphone is powered by a 600Mhz processor. Other Acer beTouch E140 specifications include a 3.2MP camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, stereo radio FM, and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). Acer beTouch E140 Android Smartphone also comes up with social network integration (Facebook and Twitter), nemoPlayer, and Acer UrFooz, that allowing creating a virtually social network.
