After being acquired by Microsoft, Nokia plans new directions in the industry with its new Android Tablet - Nokia N1 which was officially announced last day. The new Nokia N1 is its first android tablet from the company which looks to be an iPad Mini Clone. Here we discuss the specifications and overview of the Nokia N1 Android tablet. The main highlight of this N1 Android tablet is its 64 bit based CPU and the Z launcher developed by Nokia itself.
Coming to the specifications of the Nokia N1 Android Tablet, it comes powered with a 2.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor, PowerVR G6430 GPU and 2 GB Ram. It sports a 7.9-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 supporting a 2048 × 1536 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 326 ppi. It has got a 32 GB storage and comes run on the latest Android 5.0 Lolipop. Other Nokia N1 specifications includes 8 MP rear camera, 5 MP front facing camera, WiFi 802.11/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and ual Band (2X2 MIMO). Coming to the design details, the Nokia N1 Android Lolipop tablet features an aluminum uni-body build that arriving in Natural Aluminum and Lava Grey color options. It has a dimension of 200.7 x 138.6 x 6.9 and weighs 318 g. For better audio experience, the tablet features a 0.5W stereo speakers located on the bottom that backed by Wolfson WM8958E audio codec. Nokia N1 is one of the first devices which offers reversible USB connector and Nokia company confirms that the tablet will be having access to Google Play store too.
Per the sources, Nokia N1 Android tablet will be available by 2014 Q1 and comes available at a starting price of $249.
