Canon unveils its new digital camera - PowerShot SX150 IS which has a 12x optical zoom with the help of 28mm wide angle lens. Canon offers the new Canon PowerShot SX150 IS Digital camera at a price of  $249.99 and will be available by September.

Canon PowerShot SX150 IS 12x Zoom Digital Camera has got a 14.1 Megaapixel lens and features Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processor and offers manual-shooting capabilities, such as aperture priority and shutter priority for optimal artistic control. It gets a large 3-inch LCD display for easy viewing.  The PowerShot SX150 IS features Optical Image Stabilizer and the Intelligent IS that automatically chooses from six different modes to optimize image stabilization for the shooting condition.

It supports Face Detection, ISO up to 1500, Blink Detection, Motion Detection, The camera also includes improved Smart AUTO that intelligently selects the proper settings for the camera based on 32 predefined shooting situations. Canon’s SX150 IS supports 720p HD video recording with stereo sound. It has a dedicated movie button and supports zooming while video shooting.

Nikon CoolPix S1200pj Digital Camera Specifications, Features and Overview

Nikon recently said about its new digital camera model - CoolPix S1200pj  which comes with built-in projector. Nikon offers this all new CoolPix S1200pj digital camera for a price of $429.95 in black and pink color and will be release by this September. It is the company's third projector camera which offers a 40% increase in projection brightness and three times greater projection contrast, enabling projection of vivid images at a projection size of up to 60-inch display.

The 14.1 Megapixel S1200pj comes with a 5x optical zoom NIKKOR lens with 28mm wide angle and a 3-inch LCD display. Its built-in pico projector uses a three-lamp (red, green and blue LEDs) projection system offering 200:1 contrast ratio and 20 lumens brightness. It can even be connected to an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via the dedicated cable for showing images and movies stored on these devices as well as online content from websites such as YouTube.

Nikon CoolPix S1200pj Digital camera is equipped with EXPEED C2 image processing engine and provides four image stabilization functions – Combined lens-shift and electronic vibration reduction (VR), support for high sensitivities up to ISO 6400 with little noise, motion detection, best shot selector (BSS). It has 18 built-in scene modes and easy auto mode that identifies the type of subject and automatically applies the optimum scene mode.
