Asustek Computers in co-operation with Disney Consumer products developed a new netbook for kids aged between 6 and 15. The new kid's netbook is named as 'Disney Neptal' and is introduced by the companies last week. The Asus- Disney Netbook comes with an 8.9 inch LCD display.
The Disney Netbook netbooks are durable with its design and features a ‘kid-friendly’ interface on top of Windows-XP including some themes built around Mickey Mouse, Cars, Toy Story, Wall-E etc. The Disney- Neptal netbook Specifications include Intel Atom processor, WiFi, Window Xp Home, 160 GB HDD and 2 GB memory. It also features kid-friendly software and around 40 parental control options.
The new Disney neptal Netbook PC is available in two colour options- “Princess Pink” and “Magic Blue” and will be available in late July. The Neptal netbook is available from Toys R Us and Amazon for a price of around US$349.99.

I think this is a very good marketing idea of coming out something for the children as they are almost addicted to using the computer and playing games and browsing the net.This has a sleek look and I am sure would be good functionally.
